Just been looking around the internet and came across and article on the BBC website about words behind the headlines. The article was about the word gay. the E-cyclopedia has been charting the use and abuse of particular words behind the news headlines.Amid rising debate - inspired by the UK Government and legal authorities - about what are suitable terms for minority sexual groups, here as a special public service is a one-stop primer clarifying what words are in and out about being in or out.
Its interesting to see what words are allowed to be used and ones which aren't. Also its interesting to see that new words that have been introduced already have spin-offs.
